“Hudson resident Trish Kelly will recount the extraordinary life in photography of her grandfather Ernest Brooks. He rose from modest beginnings to hold the coveted position of court photographer to the British Royal Family in the early part of the 20th century. He was principal war photographer during World War 1.

His work is held in the Imperial War Museum and the National Portrait Gallery in London. Over his lifetime, he travelled the world and took thousands of historically significant photos, of which a selection will be shown. ”
