Join us for an enjoyable presentation of classical and other works for two violins. The evening will include works of the 18th and 19th centuries for two violins by composers Henryk Wieniawski, Jean-Marie Leclair, Joseph Bologne, Reinhold Glière, Serguei Prokofiev and others including special arrangements by the Duo Vivo.

Since their debut as Ensemble Duo Vivo in 2020, they have been very active in the Québec musical scene. They have frequently collaborated with the Société musicale Fernand-Lindsay – Opus 130 and Orford Musique. In addition, they were guest soloists during a concert with Ensemble Vox Lumiosa in the Spring of 2021. During 2023-24, they performed on tour with Jeunesses Musicales Canada in Québec, Ontario, and in the Maritimes. This month, October 2024, they will announce their first CD, “Amants Papillons”, available at the concert on October 27. Richard plays on a violin, “Don Nicola Amati (Marchioni)”, 1723 and Roxanne, a violin Ferdinando Gagliano 1771, made in Naples.
