from his wide and historic film collection.

Movie viewing can be considered an exciting trip to an exotic unknown destination.  In a word:  AN ADVENTURE!!    We can experience the same exhilaration and buzz we get when we go on a voyage of discovery. We all enjoy wonderful entertaining movies but we rarely give thought to the history or to all the brilliant ideas, insights and artistry that contribute to a thought provoking final product.

This exciting new series will help us understand and experience movies of all genres, be they comedies, dramas, documentaries, classics or musicals.  Or we could delve into all the exacting work that goes on behind the scenes.

Each subsequent month will feature something different beyond the current Cineplex offerings.

For the April event, the documentary film to be discussed will be about the fascinating life of a gifted American composer/musician who passed away far too young.
