Taking Your Space: A Workshop in Authenticity and Personal Ownership in Performance with Sandra Bouza
mai 8 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Saturday, May 8 | 10:00 AM
In a world full of expectations—how we should act, speak, feel—it’s easy for our true artistic voice to get buried beneath layers of judgment and social conditioning. For musicians, singers, dancers, and creatives of all kinds, those invisible pressures can quietly limit how freely we express ourselves.
Taking Your Space is an interactive workshop designed to help artists reconnect with their authentic voice and creative presence.
Led by acclaimed singer-songwriter Sandra Bouza, the session combines guided exercises and reflective practices that explore how we show up in performance. Participants will experiment with ways to release internalized expectations, protect their emotional and creative space, and step into their work with greater honesty, confidence, and ownership.
Rooted in the spirit of storytelling traditions and soulful performance, this workshop invites you to reconnect with the part of your artistry that is real, expressive, and uniquely yours.
This is a supportive space where you are welcome to be too much, too emotional, too real—because powerful art comes from full connection to yourself.
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or someone exploring your creative voice, you’re invited to come curious, open, and ready to take up the space your art deserves.
