Olivier Salazar, band leader of Razalaz, is a dynamic Montreal-based pianist, keyboardist, vibraphonist, composer, arranger, and musical director celebrated for his rich musicality and genre-blending sound rooted in jazz, funk, pop, and world music. A graduate of McGill University, he has collaborated, recorded, and performed with acclaimed artists including Petula Clark, Jacques Kuba Séguin, La Bottine Souriante, and The Brooks. Olivier performed on the Juno and Félix Award-winning album Migrations and co-arranged Domino with La Bottine Souriante, a Félix-winning and Juno-nominated release. A sought-after performer, he continues to tour internationally and appear at major festivals including the Montreal International Jazz Festival.
